The Alaska Department of Revenue is getting ready to give qualified residents a $1,312 Stimulus Check. The payouts began on July 18, 2024, and are still going on. Because of how expensive it is to live in Alaska, this payment is very important and helps many people’s finances a lot.

The Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) is projected to bring in almost $1 billion for the local economy this year. In addition to helping Alaskan families, this also boosts the economy by getting people to spend more. As the July release date gets closer, residents need to be aware of important dates and rules. On July 12, applications stopped being accepted. On July 15, services in person began again.

$1312 Stimulus Check July 2024 Update

Temporary Closure for Processing: The PFD Division shut down its public services from July 1, 2024, to July 12, 2024, so that it could process the applications and papers from the most recent filing season. During this time, entries could still be sent by mail, email, or fax.

Return of In-Person Services: As of July 15, 2024, services could be obtained in person on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The PFD’s website and customer service are still available for more information or help.

$1,312 Stimulus Payment Schedule

On July 10, 2024, people who were marked as “Eligible-Not Paid” will have their payments handled. The payment date has been set for July 18, 2024. People who signed up later will get their funds around the middle of August.

The PFD is instrumental in enhancing Alaska’s economic landscape by:

  • The annual payments help lower poverty levels by providing direct financial assistance to residents.
  • These funds increase consumer spending, directly benefiting local businesses and the broader economy.
  • By distributing natural resource wealth among its residents, Alaska ensures a more stable and equitable economic environment.

People who live in the area must meet the following requirements to get this payment:

  • Residency: You must have lived in Alaska for the past year or be a resident there at the time you apply.
